  • Do you offer telehealth or virtual appointments?

Yes, we offer telehealth or virtual appointments to support you in the way that works best for you. It's important to note that while we provide convenient telehealth options for follow-up appointments, an in-person initial evaluation is required for addiction psychiatry services and strongly recommended for general psychiatry services.

  • Do you work with children, adolescents, adults, or older adults?

We are presently welcoming new patients aged 16 and above who are dealing with a range of mental health conditions.

  • Do I need a referral from my primary care physician to make an appointment?

No, you do not need a referral from your primary care physician to make an appointment.

  • What is the fee structure for your clinic's services?

Please refer to our service page for detailed pricing information.

  • Do you accept insurance?

We primarily operate on a private pay basis and only work with select insurance plans.

  • Can I see doctors who are not in the network and still receive reimbursement for my insurance plans?

Yes, the majority of insurance plans typically include out-of-network coverage, which means you might be eligible for reimbursement for a portion of your appointment expenses. However, the specifics of your coverage are dependent on your individual plan. For more detailed information regarding out-of-network coverage, we recommend contacting your insurance provider directly using the number provided on your insurance card. If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out to us.

  • What is out-of-network coverage?

Out-of-network coverage is a feature offered by most insurance plans that allows you to receive healthcare services from providers who are not part of your insurance plan's network. If you have out-of-network benefits, you will typically need to pay all appointment fees at the time of service. Following each session, you can request a superbill from the provider, which includes details about the services provided and fees charged. This superbill can then be submitted to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. It's important to note that this benefit extends to all healthcare services, not just psychiatry! We recommend reaching out to your insurance company to understand the specifics of your out-of-network coverage, including any deductibles, co-pays, or reimbursement rates, so you won't be limited by your insurance network!

  • What can I anticipate during the complimentary phone consultation?

This conversation is also an opportunity to consider the most suitable course of action going forward. If it's determined that our practice may not be the best fit for you, we will provide alternative referral options.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in helping us deliver the best possible service to all of our patients.

  • What is the cancellation policy, and what can I anticipate if I miss my appointment without giving a 24-hour notice?"

We totally get that life can throw unexpected curveballs, and plans might need to change. To ensure a smooth experience for our valued patients, we kindly request a friendly heads-up of at least 24 hours in the event you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may result in a $50 cancellation fee.
